| 23514 | 2001-11-03 04:55:00 | I have recently installed Windows XP with a clean install including NTFS to an AMD 1.4GB Thunderbird running on a AM-33EC DFI board with 256MB SDRAM. This is or was a well behaved and stable machine. Everything is now up and running, including stuff like DVD, O K except for The afforsaid Modem which will not function and produces fault reports. The modem itself is not faulty as it works on other machines under earlier Windows systems. Ihave tried all the Windows 2000 drivers, thankyou, and gone to both the Motorola and BrightCom sites for Windows XP drivers without success. Any constructive comment or help would be appreciated. |

However. Perhaps trying to install a generic 28k standard modem will prove if its a hardware fault. By rights installing this driver should kick something into life..If so then its a wait process.... Good Luck ==Orac== |
