23788 2001-11-06 21:20:00 When I go to a page on a secure server, my IE5.5 browser says it can't find the page. I get the IE default message headed 'The page cannot be displayed'. But with Netscape I can view it.

Also, I have a page which is on a regular server, but has an image located on a secure server. The page displays, but the image does not.

This has only recently started happening, it used to be fine. I don't think I have changed anything.

My IE version is 5.50.4134.0100IC with 128-bit cipher strength.

Any ideas?

23789 2001-11-07 08:22:00 Here's an update.

I installed IE 6 off the PCWORLD CD and the problem still occurs. I have checked 'Use SSL 2.0', 'Use SSl 3.0' and 'Use TLS 1.0' in the advanced section of internet tools.

Still the same problem!

23790 2001-11-07 09:13:00 ...it is generally advised not to try and 'upgrade' out of a software problem because the original problem is likely to remain - and become complicated with the additional variable/s.

However - the following site might be of some assistance:

members.iinet.net.au

Cheers !!!
