23713 2001-11-06 03:14:00 Thanx for the response to earlier query. Have tried to save address book as .csv file, saving just name and e-mail fields.

When trying to Import get message that all the email addresses are non-internet addresses! What now?

Further investigation shows that I can Export/Import an address book as .wab files Ok between two Pcs using Windows 98SE. The initial and continuing problem is trying to move an address book from a PC using Windows ME to one using Windows 98SE

Does this make sense?

A very simple way of doing what you describe, is go to C:\windows\application data\microsoft\address book and copy the wab file to a floppy disk.
put the floppy disk in the machine you wish to transfer it to, fire up OE 5.5 go file, import, address book, and then just navigate to the A: drive from the pop up box and double click the wab file.
All done.
