| 23698 | 2001-11-05 10:59:00 | My computer MB is with TX Pro-II PCI chipset. It says that it will support AMD K6, IBM?Cyrix 6x86(MX)CPUs. It appears that CYrix 6x86 would be more than 500 MHz. But I bought AMD K 6-2/333. When I fitted this into the MB, it said it couldn't identigy the CPU. I tried whichever way possible to locate the MB maker but failed to find. Does anyone knows about this MB and its possibilites of upgrading? Please help if you can. Mukesh |

| 23701 | 2001-11-05 20:36:00 | Hi Mukesh, can you find any numbers stamped on the motherboard that may help identify it? also try a search on google for 'TX-2 pro'. Does your motherboard have onboard video & sound pro onboard sound? does it have 2 x 168pin ram slots & 4 x 72pin ram slots? as I have a motherboard manual that may be the same. cheers Steve |
