23794	2001-11-06 21:05:00	Hello Ringo, all the bits and pieces are ok, with exception of the PC to PC phone which is completely out of whack,and the chat section has the hideous laugh missing. A web page on ICQ explains that the new ICQ is currently in beta,(testing stage) and a new commercial version, will be offered when all the bugs are fixed. There have been 3 updates so far, with build 3638 the latest. It will be interesting to see what they mean by 'commercial' version won't it. cheers, Bob	Guest (0)
23795	2001-11-06 22:53:00	Hi Bob, I think that the problem may lie @ my friends end, as she now tells me her iMac has been playing up,it crashed, and all her preferences are out etc. She is going to download the new version, so problem solved hopefully! Speaking of ICQ, I think it is rather a strange, that they are releasing a a new version of ICQ without it being fully tested,( I can't think of any large company who would bulk test on the masses ) without the choice of being able to download the former fully tested & OK earlier version.... Maybe that is the way that it is done, but it seems strange to me.... and I have a real niggle that in the very near future, if you want all of the ICQ package it will be subscriber.... It DOES say on the download page that 2001b is free for a limited time only Anyway, thanks for your help guys, RINGO	Guest (0)
