23773 2001-11-06 09:38:00 hey, we have a hewlett packard pavilion 6616 here at home and i was just wondering what we could do to get it going abit faster and tidy it up abit? add ram? what kind though, and can it go into our computer? cpu? mother boards??? we have a celeron with 64MB ram but thats about all i know..... also im not sure about drivers and keeping your system in top shape? how and when do i upgrade drivers and what do they do? .....thx Guest (0)
23774 2001-11-06 10:18:00 ram is the first upgrade. it will take a max of 256(2x128).
there is a bios upgrade so it may take a p3. unforunatly u have onboard graphics and no agp slot so video upgrades are limited. better sound card,modem,hardrive the list goes on;-)
