| 23737 | 2001-11-06 01:18:00 | Anyone out there with a Jetway 530BF motherboard (SIS 530/5595 chipset). I would be extreemly grateful, if you machine is running well and performing OK in 3d apps/games, if you would share your BIOS settings with me. Either post or email me. Thankyou. |

If you want to be able to do this, you have to ensure that the other person has identical hardware to you, same mobo, CPU, RAM types and speeds, Hard Disks, CDDrives, Soundcards, Video Cards and preferably same OS as well. All of these things can require small changes to BIOS to get things running smoothly. Best bet is to tell us what your problem is, and then someone should be able to help you fix it, it may not even be BIOS related. |

I altered my bios settings following the book, and everything is running sweet as. When you say your settings are all different, why don't you take a closer look at that site. Another thing you could do is try PC Pitstop. it's free. I don't understand what has happened to your old mother board, did you try to flash the bios and stuff it up. I thought when that happened there were several options to repair the wrong doing, like holding down the Ins key while the computer boots up or moving a jumper for a few seconds to set the bios back to default. Is the board so stuffed it won't even start? |
