| 24014 | 2001-11-09 02:30:00 | I'm trying to scandisk, but it says some program is running and it's being trying to scan 10 times. I've use Scandisk in safe mode (and none system tray stuff is on), I used Ctrl-alt-delete to see what program is running and all it is, is the explorer. What could be running? | Guest (0) | ||
| 24015 | 2001-11-09 04:04:00 | I've never needed to try doing it in safe mode, as my method always works. Firstly, turn off your screensaver, then close all programs, including those running in the background, except the essentials like Systray, using Ctrl-Alt-Delete method. Now try and run scandisk. If that doesn't work, post back and someone else might have more info. |
