| 24010 | 2001-11-09 02:21:00 | My cdrom has stopped auto-starting most cd?s .on some I get the message that the drive needs cleaning,on some it can?t access the drive at all.the control panel-system-device manager-cdrom properties shows the auto insert notification as checked and also disconnect as checked under the settings option.there are no device conflicts shown. Also I get the message of ?terminating threads due to stack overflow problem sometimes at start ?up and am advised to increase minSPs in the system.INI or remove any recently installed Vxd?s.all this is greek to me.please help. akash |

| 24011 | 2001-11-09 04:14:00 | Looks as if your CD drive is either dead, or needs to have its lens cleaned. You could try one of the CD cleaning kits. Shop around -- they look to be a bit overpriced to me. | Guest (0) | ||
