Simple question ? Is it possible, using software such as 'FREE DVD', to play DVD?s on a CD Rom on a PC??

Basically because of how information is stored on a DVD, a DVD player or drive is different to a CD player or drive in how it can read the information. Information on DVDs is stored a lot closer together, enabling it to hold a LOT more, so the DVD Drive has to be able to read this.

23977 2001-11-12 14:57:00 You can however watch divx movies that are compressed from dvds you lose about 20% to 30% picture quality but a movie will fit onto a 650 meg cdr you need a good cpu though about a 400 megahetz upwards is fine. Guest (0)
