| 23894 | 2001-11-08 00:58:00 | Problem: If we go to Excite.com and go to Email my PC on Windows 2000 with SP2 freezes solid. On rebooting, I get a 'Cannot find HD' problem. Sometimes, if I use the Win2000 CD the Repair facility will work. Other times I need to shut down and eventually, the HD is found again! I suspect this is a problem with Javascript on the Excite site. Weird thing is that no other site causes this problem. I am totally up to date with all Win2000 upgrades. Currently I am checking all drivers are current..and they seem ok. What next????? |

| 23897 | 2001-11-09 03:06:00 | Don't go to excite.com. I am serious: they want to make money from you, and they send code which can crash your computer. How much time does it take to make it work again. Why do people accept this sort of thing as NORMAL? Email them from your new mail server and complain. LOUDLY. |
