| 24056 | 2001-11-09 10:06:00 | I recently purchased a new computer with Windows XP installed on it. Because most of my peripherals are old, some of them don't work, so I had the bright idea of installing Windows 98 on the computer as well. (They are both on drive C). Everything worked just fine, and I can now select what operating system I can boot into when I turn on the computer. But now I want to uninstall Windows 98, but don't know how to do it. I have looked in the Add/Remove Programs control panel, both in XP and 98 and their is no option. Neither does Tweak UI have any such option. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance... :-) | Guest (0) | ||

I am hoping that XP has the same things as W2K here. right click my computer, properties, start-up and shutdown. highlight xp as the default start up option reduce the time to 0 (or 1 if that does not work) delete all windows directories, apps, etc. as long as you know what is XP and what is 98... that might work Wayne |
