| 24031 | 2001-11-09 06:24:00 | Iam useing a Compaq 800mhz with 192meg ram. Running ME which was upgraded from Windows 98. I have tried to install an upgrade version of Windows XP but the following error message occours: 'The language of this installation of Windows differs from the one you are installing. The option to upgrade will not be available' Has anyone any suggestions please. |

| 24032 | 2001-11-09 06:44:00 | Hello, at a guess I would say that the bios on your computer is out of date, run a check of your system at www.pcpitstop.com in the top left hand corner of the web site, under 'test my pc' click 'XP readiness. it will run a test and give a report as to what is needed to run XP. good luck, Bob |
