| 24345 | 2001-11-13 04:08:00 | If for E-mail 'Disconnect when finished is turned on' and Norton'sAnti'Virus 'scan Outward E-mail' is also turned on,when one sends a message comes up 'Unable to send because of connection discontinued' BUT THE MAIL HAS BEEN SENT TO THE 'SENT ' BOX. IT HAS NOT GONE!!! Norton's answer to the question is 'Turn the Disconnect when finished OFF' 'Protect against timeouts when scanning' in Norton's does not help. |

| 24346 | 2001-11-13 07:57:00 | Nortons 2002? I think the only way out of this is to remove the tick from the Disconnect when finished. I tried 2002 but went back to 2001 so I cannot have a look see myself to see if I can be more helpful. | Guest (0) | ||
| 24347 | 2001-11-14 01:00:00 | Greetings. I also was caught, including a couple of e-mails addressed to Alan about XP timings. I have disabled the Norton virus scan on outwards E-mail. After all, if everything else is protected, there is little risk involved. |
