24279 2001-11-12 11:36:00 Will probably depend on the brand of modem you have. Mine is an external Dynalink and I just typed in M0 (0 is zero not oh) and now dial up in peace and quiet.
Go to control panel>modems>click on your modem to highlight it>select properties>click the advanced tab and in the box type M0 and click ok.
If this doesn't work go to your modems website and you should find some help there.

24281 2001-11-12 20:34:00 Hi Steve,
I tried that on mine and it made no difference. Any ideas why? Is it because it is an external or would it just depend on the brand.

Thanks
