| 24272 | 2001-11-12 09:37:00 | Can someone help me out, I'll be really grateful. Is it alright to delete everything in Temp folder that is in the windows folder(my os is WIN98SE). Cause I got quite a few amount of stuffs in there which I don't know to delete or not to delete. Will it be alright to delete them all without causing harm to my programes. Sorry but here's one more question, it will be my last one. When ever I scan disk my computer(I have 2 drives one) the scan disk only goes up to 2 squares or sometimes 3 and it seens like it never gonna finish scan disk. And it's only on the first drive. I have tried leaving it for a whole night to scan disk but it just never seems to go past 2 or 3 squares and sometimes when it scan my 2nd drive it said 'some program had been over writen' and sometimes it doesn't say any thing and scan on. This use to happen but after a 2 or 3 days. The scan disk just scan my whole computer. I always use maintenance programe to scan disk and disk degrag the computer. So can any one help me. Any suggestions or answers will be really grateful. Thanks alot |

For scandisk, something in the background is probably running, the easiest way to get around it is to boot into safe mode and run it from there. Safe mode can be accessed by restarting your computer and holding shift just before the windows splash screen appears. |
