| 24250 | 2001-11-12 04:55:00 | Hi all Does anyone provide a Home Networking service? We have a couple of PC's and I can only tell the difference between them because ones black and the others beige. I don't have the time or inclination to learn how they work but would like to share an internet connection and beat my wife (on Unreal that is!). Thanks in advance. Jason |

| 24254 | 2001-11-12 08:30:00 | Assuming you are only wanting to network the two computers, and that they do not currently have cards, for a 10/100Mb network, you would be looking at about $60 for two network cards and probably about $20 for some crossover cabling, the cost of the cable depends entirely on the distance it has to cover. Installing it is easy enough, but as suggested, you might want to post a location and someone is bound to be able to offer assistance in setting it up for you. |
