| 24238 | 2001-11-12 03:24:00 | just installed 56k lucent modem into a Win 95 environment,loaded software but when I go to modem dianostics - more info I get 'Can not open port'. Have tried on different ports i.e. com 3-com 4 with no joy. Cheers |

Take a look and see if the driver includes any options for changing the com port, or see if there are any conflicts. They can be very fussy sometimes. One minute, it doesn't work, next it's fine.
