24512 2001-11-14 11:06:00 I have a Toshiba Libretto sub-notebook (P75 running Win95) and it only has 16MB RAM.

Would the RAM type be specific to Toshiba or would some of this current glut of cheap SODIMM notebook RAM be suitable? I'd like to take it up to 64MB if I can.

I assume that notebook RAM is physically smaller and the Toshiba is as small as they get, being about the size of a video cassette.

Thaks

24513 2001-11-14 11:27:00 Hi Michael, do you know what model of Libretto it is?
Looking at www.silverace.com
it appears to be the 50 model and being able to support up to 32MB of edo ram.

24514 2001-11-14 21:57:00 Thanks JM.

It is a Libretto 50CT. I'd settle for 32MB but the computer is so small I am assuming that the ram cannot be physically very big. I have RTFM but there is nothing in it about ram upgrades.

Any ideas about whether it will take another 16MB stick or whether I will have to find a single 32MB, and if so, where am I likely to find such a beast?
