| 24409 | 2001-11-13 19:03:00 | I had recently formatted my main C: partition from DOS and reloaded win98SE. After this my startup seems to be very slow. When reaching the Win98 startup screen, i press escape and it seems to have stopped at the C:\> part of the startup. There is no hard drive usage at this time and it takes about 15 sec before it does anything again. It was not like this at all before formatting. The only program I recently loaded before formatting was Adaptec Goback 3.0 trial but I then removed it before formatting. My Partitions are on a 40GB and C: is 7GB and the rest is D: |
