For example the highly popular Sircam worm carries it's own SMTP engine so techniques like that are useless as there will be no signature on the message. Even using the APIs for sending mail there will be no signature unless the virus/worm writer wants a signature on there. This ranks up there with that stupid !0000 entry in the address book urban legend. |

I know that think they everything, If they are not happy why don't they go back to UK land and watch ?give us a clue?. Were did I say, in my first posting, this is better than 100% effective way to totally avoid virus, or are you such a know all you don't bother to read it all. It was just an idea because I am sick of getting attachments with nothing in the mail, I just delete them, in fact most people would see the logic of the posting without falling out of their tree, like you have. |
