| 24665 | 2001-11-16 11:45:00 | Hi, This is a problem I always encounter when trying to back up data onto my zip drive. It comes in different forms, but always something to do with the media in the drive not being formatted. this evening I had a new box of zip100 disks, all identical and preformatted. I started the backup, and the first disk went fine, as did the second. When i inserted the third disk is said it wasn't formatted, and asked if I wanted to format it now. I clicked yes, and it said the media is not properly formatted. After clicking ok, it asked if I wanted to use another... I tried every disk in the box, none worked. By going into properties of the drive it said that there was 95.7mb of free space, something it would not have done if the drive was indeed not formatted. Any ideas??? | Guest (0) | ||
