| 24586 | 2001-11-15 09:43:00 | I have obtained a old PC from work which had had the hard disk wiped clean. I have managed to create a boot disk that gets the CD-ROM drive working. When I run the Win95 setup program from the CD it performs a routine system check (Microsoft Scandisk) but stops/hangs when it gets to checking the File allocation tables. When I exit at this point I get a Memory allocation error. How can I get win95 loaded? The PC is a PII 300MHz, 64Mb RAM, 3 Gb Hard disk |
