| 24830 | 2001-11-18 05:07:00 | Have an Athlon 1.2G with 128 mb ram and when installing Me to a clean disk (Formatted)it gets to the 18min mark (setup hardware etc)it inevitably returns an 0028... error, the problem being in vxd.XXX. On step by step confirmation reboot it loads 4-5 *.vxd files but then reboots. If you let it go it just continuously reboots. Have run scanreg, and limited virtual memory. Tried installing NT4 but got a blue screen indicating a memory problem. Changed the ram but no different. Any ideas? regards Don |
