I have Win98se .My computer locks up when I try to activate ?Scan disk?,also, it fails to run after an improper shut down. This has only happened in the last couple of weeks prior to that it was working O.K. Can any one provide me with a solution? |

try running system file checker. |

have tried file checker it tells me every thing O.K but scandisk still will not work |
