1282748 2012-06-19 10:19:00 I am willing to buy a new GPU. I am looking at the Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti. Is there an AMD card which is better and cheaper or better value around the same price?
Thanks!:)

1282749 2012-06-19 10:23:00 Ok first things first im not gpu guru, id have to say dugimodo and posibily icow are.

Im more preference, i like nvidia because of its reputation. People will probibly say you could find a cheaper amd gpu. I think there are a couple of games that dont like amd but some run spectacularly better.

My opinion only:)

1282750 2012-06-19 10:25:00 I will be playing things like Minecraft (Like highest settings and HD texture packs) FSX (flight sim X) TF2 (team fortress 2) and maby some runescape or Diablo 3 type games. Nikit07 (16761)
1282751 2012-06-19 10:26:00 Maybe that helps? Nikit07 (16761)
1282752 2012-06-19 10:26:00 Right now i have Geforce GT 520 and I am noticing quite a bit of lag. Nikit07 (16761)
1282753 2012-06-19 10:28:00 Those games arent the most graphics intensive. You could probibly get away with using a cheaper card. stratex5 (16685)
1282754 2012-06-19 10:31:00 Everyone that could posibly help you better doesnt seem to be logged in right now so i think you are better off waiting till tomorrow. stratex5 (16685)
1282755 2012-06-19 11:02:00 And with minecraft, it's Java thats the problem of the lag and slowdowns. bob_doe_nz (92)
1282756 2012-06-19 11:07:00 Just get a nice 560ti that will last you for a while. Minecraft however runs absoluitly fine on intel integrated graphics but is a whore for ram as you will probably want atleast 4Gb of it at a reasonable clock speed. I cant really say for diablo but it doesnt look like it has the most crazy graphics, a 560ti shoul be more than enough. Alot of the reason I like amd more is that your never stuck buying something a little under powered or over powered as there is a great deal of variety. Slankydudl (16687)
1282757 2012-06-19 19:05:00 Yes I have a 560 ti and goes will. See below.
