1259976 2012-02-19 18:41:00 So, if we have the resorces and the capabilitiies, do we help them or not? Metla (12)
1259977 2012-02-19 19:09:00 I would suggest to Mr Sharples that he takes some of the Billions of dollars in Treaty Settlement Monies and attend to the problem himself! B.M. (505)
1259978 2012-02-19 19:23:00 Lmao

Tui?

Having said that, I have no idea how much if any resources are put back into the youth by the grievance industry.

1259979 2012-02-19 19:30:00 Any chance the crooks would think about their kids before they commit crimes against us and go to prison?
Doubt it.
The kids in most cases will be repeating the antics of their "parents" anyway.

1259981 2012-02-19 20:41:00 I was scratching my head about Ben, a 14 year old, who needed his father to be out of prison as he had nobody to stop him shoplifting. At 14 the Police would not be able to do much to him because of his age. If he is caught shoplifting what happens if the Police take him home to his parents. He would more than likely be told off by his parents for being stupid enough to be caught. He might be sent to a family group conference.

These kids are growing up thinking that breaking the law is the norm.

The trouble is that there are no real consequences for their actions so they never get taught a good lesson and you are right the parents are more likely to abuse the police and give the kid a bash for being silly enough to be caught.

1259984 2012-02-19 22:28:00 The primary issue is the children. They can't help being born to criminal parents. If these children are neglected and we can do nothing to help them, we simply allow another generation of criminals to arrive. Winston001 (3612)
