| 1259635 | 2012-02-17 08:45:00 | Just happened to glance outside around 8pm to find I had no front lawn and a impressive river instead of a driveway! Water stopped about 4 foot from my garage door, but one of the neighbours had their car submerged up to the door handle. Attached photos were taken after the water had dropped about 1 foot. It was the deepest outside my drive, with a nearly 4 ft tide mark on the fence. I have been generous and shared the bark from my garden with all the neighbours. :o 35923593 |

| 1259638 | 2012-02-17 09:43:00 | And they Wellington has the bad weather :D ----- Narrrrrrrrrrrr, even when it has been wet here its next to nothing, cant actually remember when we had a real wet day. Its been so hot and dry here today its not funny. Not a cloud in the sky all day, and night sky is beautiful and clear, plenty of stars, not even a hint of a breeze. Stay dry ;) |

Colleagues said wait till I get home - on arriving was told it had rained hard at 11am but nothing dramatic, and then it rained again around 8:30pm, in a minor way. So....missed all the excitement at both locations.... |
