| 1260266 | 2012-02-21 11:16:00 | Thinking about the maths of all this, if drunk people are responsible for 30% of the road deaths in NZ, and thinking of the millions of people on the roads every day compared with the paltry few in hospital, it definitely appears to be safer to be on a road among drunk drivers than to go to hospital. We mustn't discount the fact that some of these people are in hospital will be a bit crook before the system starts smiting them hip and thigh; on the other hand hospitals are designed for sick people, so that balances out pretty much. I'm a bit concerned about the fact that roads were designed for sober drivers, but those sober motorists regularly kill twice as many as the drunks do. People wearing foil hats do not show up at all in any of these fatalities as drivers, doctors, or victims, but strangely enough no credit is given to the foil hat manufacturers or wearers. It's a puzzlement alright, maybe it is time to spend a few more millions on TV advertising. |

Making excuses is a weakness, deserves no respect and endorses the end result, the taking oif someones life. |

I wonder how many people die each year in hospitals in places like India, China etc etc from hospital incompetence. :) |

| 1260270 | 2012-02-21 20:40:00 | Its not possible to define a perfect life, and if it were no one would have ever come close to achiving it, it would folly to make an excuse for not achiving something undefinable and impossible. I don't believe in excuses on any level, Face all issues head on, If there is a failure then accept it for what it is, motivation for improvment, then make that improvment. Excuses are for the weak, I refuse to make them and I don't accept them. |

Now your entire house is stacked to the ceiling in every room with dead people, limbs are poking through windows, those on the lower levels are getting squashed flat by the 1000's of kg's of dead flesh bearing down on them. Also, your shed is full, so is your swimming pool, and there is a layer of them over your entire front yard, and 4 placed in your car. If you read the article carefully, it states 86 dead, total of 377 incidents. You may be able to fit 86 in your kitchen and still be able to drive and swim. |
