| 1283358 | 2012-06-22 11:34:00 | +1. It's a hardware issue. The reason you lost the video image when using the TV is probably because the TV is not capable of displaying the high resolution coming from the computer. Try reducing it. |

| 1283359 | 2012-06-22 12:25:00 | It's a dead common problem, most probably bad capacitors in the power circuit which fires up the cathode (lights like ultra thin fluro tubes) that run along the top and bottom edges of the screen. Potentially repaired for $5 of parts if you have the mettle to DIY. On the other hand, you could wreck it instead. Your risk. Still worth a few bucks on Trademe if others believe it can be fixed. I'd give you $5. x2 You can give it to me if you want, haha. |
