1260037 2012-02-20 06:18:00 Turns out Mr Fry (whom I otherwise enjoy watching on TV) was being a doofus and didn't realise/remember he'd signed up to a plan that gets automatically throttled when he reached his cap!! johcar (6283)
1260038 2012-02-20 06:34:00 Given that there are places in the world where Joe Average doesn't hit a cap until he's gone through 1TB in a month, we do look like the poor cousins from the woods when we get capped anywhere from 0.5 to 4% of that volume of data. Paul.Cov (425)

I don't disagree - but for someone who professes to be a "gadget-loving geek", perhaps he should have looked a little more closely into the possible causes of his internet slow-down before shooting his mouth off and making himself look a little silly???

By all mean let him complain about the low caps far and wide - I certainly don't disagree there!!!

He wasn't the account holder, and given that he's not from a country with low caps, it probably didn't occur to him.

1260043 2012-02-20 07:13:00 He's from england, enough said. A stereotype has an element of truth to them = w _ _ _ _ _ _ g _ o _ sam m (517)

The logic still stands - if he's a geek, look for/ask why it's broken before mouthing off.

Quite right, we don't want people criticizing our wonderful , nay, perfect country.

1260046 2012-02-20 09:08:00 To be fair to Telecom, their pathetic speeds are usually such that their pathetic caps can't often be reached in only a single passing of Haley's comet. ;) R2x1 (4628)
