He asked for some advice and is getting shot down for being lucky enough to have a parent who wants to buy him a TV. Good on them and Good on him. QUOTE] + 2 :) I suspect that after your area's history in elections over the last few years your vote will be automatically invalidated, so you might as well award yourself ten votes as two ;) |

| 1259886 | 2012-02-19 21:19:00 | I intend to also hook the new tele up to my pc and use it as a monitor (through dvi if possible, though i might need a dvi to hdmi converter) High def (1080 if possible but would settle for 720) Don't compromise on resolution if you are going to use it as a PC monitor. 720 is not good enough at 32" for a monitor. It will be argued by some that 1080 is not good enough for a 32" monitor. I have a 19" and 20" Viewsonic both of which are 1050. |

| 1259889 | 2012-02-19 23:26:00 | Shop around. Once I'd determined the model I wanted I visited a bunch of shops, and eventually saved over $100 buying from Dick Smith, 32 inch, well under $500, and am perfectly happy with it. | Paul.Cov (425) | ||
