1259720 2012-02-18 07:59:00 It must be a very filty house full of maggots and other pests. Probably not fit for human to live in! Is that house in NZ? bk T (215)

1259723 2012-02-18 18:49:00 It takes 8 hrs or so for fly eggs to hatch into maggots. 2 hrs on the bench might not improve the food poisoning chances, but it won't have been responsible for the maggots. pctek (84)

x2 I've recently had something to do with QA for some other fast food chains, and beleive me, the chances of that happening are infinitesimal. The whole cooking process is carefully mapped out with checks and double checks and little is left to chance where food is involved.

Pctek got it right: "It takes 8 hrs or so for fly eggs to hatch into maggots. 2 hrs on the bench might not improve the food poisoning chances, but it won't have been responsible for the maggots."

1259725 2012-02-18 21:44:00 Wonder if they had eaten the French Fries? -- Who knows what May Have been going on beforehand (www.bigoo.ws) :lol:LOL, bluddy funny!

Ok, WT's link in first post explains the story a bit more fully. Now there seems to be something missing here (like 6 hours). As pctek, WalOne and others have pointed out, 8 hours for fly eggs to hatch and the chances of it happening in kfc are next to nill, sooooo maybe it took them 6 hours to drive from kfc to home?

And wheres the Tui ad when you need it, last statement "Asked whether they would ever have it again, she had one word: "Never.''". Yeah Right !. If kfc rang them and said "we have heard you have had a bad experience with one of our products and would like you to come down and have a free meal on us", they would be there in a heart beat!!

1259727 2012-02-18 23:51:00 There isn't a system in the world that can't fail due to human incompentence, Its just as likely that this piece of chicken was dropped on the floor for long enough to attract some flys before being found and placed in the warmer as it is for the purchaser to be full of crap.

Without futher evidence of charecter how can any judgement be made?
