| 24914 | 2001-11-19 04:50:00 | Have been trying to find out about connection speeds to Jetstart and Jetstream? When you right click on the ADSL Icon and/or the Dial up Icon in the toolbar - you get a range of connection fiqures What I am really wanting to understand - what upload/ download speeds to expect from both services - so I know if there are any shortfalls or variations in my connection/ service at any time Thanks, Pedro |

There are several other sites around that do DSL speed checks but I find their results erratic. Every time I use PCPitstop to check my jetstream speed I come away smiling. In my experience, provided your system is going ok to start with, you will notice if there is any significant slowdown. I don't experience many slow loads or downloads unless I am using a US site at their busy time. Billy 8-{) |
