25179	2001-11-21 23:58:00	Hi All I am thinking of upgradeing from win95 to 98 mostly because,as a semi pro photographer I want to invest in a flat bed scanner and although I have a USB port, I understand that it needs 98 to work. Am I better to go to a later upgrade like 2000 or ME and also will it be a major in terms of installation,(I have a lot of stuff on my hard drive that I dont want to lose. I have a Pentium 11 233MZ with 256meg of Ram and a 52 times CD Rom. Thanks and regards Keith	Guest (0)
25180	2001-11-22 00:24:00	well i prefer 98se over ME. tends to be easier to get drivers for older computers. check what motherboard you have so you can keep an eye out for an inexpencive cpu upgrade. also check how much harddrive space you have left.	Guest (0)

25184	2001-11-22 07:34:00	Hi Keith, Yeh, I agree with Tweak'e while ME is quite stable, it requires a lot of recources to run, and it seems that your cpu, is a tad on the small size. Look to upgrade your cpu and stay with either 98 or 98se. cheers	Guest (0)
