| 25136 | 2001-11-21 06:27:00 | Hello quicktime por offers the option of saving movies from a browser to .mov file on disk. I have quicktime and find it hard to justify the $74 price just to keep the trailers I view. When I download the movie inside my browser I can still watch the movie over and over while disconnected until I close the browser window and clear the cache. So, My question is if I can still view this file when offline and can't when I clear the cache the file must be in some temp file but I cannot find it. Any help would be great thanks, Michael De Vorms I used the find utility to search through files created that day and nothing of use came up. |

When I want something like that out of the cache, I just open its folder up and grab the largest file in it (unless I know its size) and try renaming it if the extension is different. It may be more difficult if you use IE because it uses special display settings for its folder. |
