Where abouts is this recent files section? ie, where can I find it on my computer so that I can try and solve your problem. Do you mean therecent files list in ME, not just the media player? hope I can help. G P |

| 25069 | 2001-11-21 09:00:00 | To delete the recent files list from Media Player in ME: Run Regedit (Start > Run > Regedit) then find this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\P layer\RecentFileList then delete the list in the right-hand column. Also there might be another key which you could delete the list out of: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer \Player\RecentFileList I hope this works for you. Be very careful using Regedit... don't touch anything else in there if you don't know what you're doing :) you've been warned! |
