25150 2001-11-22 03:36:00 Not an easy question to answer. I did a video a while back that required a range of tools.

ULead Media Studio Pro is a good program.

Camtasia was handy.

25151 2001-11-22 05:19:00 Where do you want to start??

Are you looking at doing it as a one off job or on a more frequent basis???

You can spend big dollars and go for Adobe Premiere which will give you all the options under the sun.

Or

As Rob said U-Lead puts out a very good product that is a hell of a lot cheaper as well as being easier to use.

If you are using Windows ME or XP the inbuilt Moviemaker is a very basic programme that is simple to use.

Another alternative is to download the Demo versions from Adobe or U-Lead if you are just editing a one off but want to achieve a good result.

I have a Pinnacle Systems Studio DV capture card installed in my pc. The Studio software comes with a wide range of transitions, titling, and sound effects. Total cost about $NZ500.00. Try <www.pinnaclesys.com>
