| 25444 | 2001-11-24 09:52:00 | Hi, i have a Deskjet 840C printer installed on my Athlon 1ghz. I'm running on windows 98SE with office 2000 prefessional. Whenever I print out a MS Words document a small section on the bottem of the page is cut off. Though this isnt really a big deal, I found it quite frustrating losing the bottem border on each of my pages. I have tried printing the same thing on my Lexmark 1020 printer and it came out fine. Any help or suggestions to help me solve this problem would be much appreciated, thanks. |

However, in Word the default setting for the footer and page number is 0.5 inch from the bottom the paper. Therefore the bottom line (or footer) may not print. To fix this, change the From Edge setting for the footer to .67 inch or larger. To do this, choose Page Setup from the File menu and select the Margins tab. Type or select .67 or greater in the From Edge box and then choose OK. |
