25356	2001-11-23 09:36:00	My 3 yr old PC came with Norton AV preinstalled with no disks and lifetime free updates. I'm preparing for a reformat and would like to know how I can backup (onto a CD) and reinstall Norton afterwards without installation disks. There doesn't seem to be any 'install.exe' file anywhere so I'm not sure if it can be done. Any ideas please? Thanks!	Guest (0)

Just clicked that you get lifetime free updates. Your life or your PC? But seriously, can't anyone just download updates when they want or did you get lifetime of liveupdates? Robo.	Guest (0)

My life, of course, free updates forever, but shhhhhh! AFAIK these days you gotta pay after 1 year if you want to keep getting updates. I'm happy with my version and just want to reinstall it after reformatting. Now, how did you say I can do it?	Guest (0)

25360	2001-11-24 03:20:00	Graham, that's an idea, I never thought of that. However, I can't remember getting an extra CD, only floppies, but I'll have a hunt for something -- thanks!! Gordon dearest, sorry that I forgot those important details -- it's Norton AntiVirus 4.04 for Windows 95 and I'm running Win 98 first edition.	Guest (0)
