25566	2001-11-25 20:16:00	One of the things that has bugged me ever since moving up from 'snail' modems to ADSl is the inability to fax directly from the computer. I know there are web based fax services, but apart from reintalling the old modem (and I don't have enough irqs to do that) is there another way round it?	Guest (0)
25567	2001-11-25 20:45:00	I was looking at the same problem when I went dsl but as it turned out there was enough irq's to go round. The only solutiuon my tech offered was a separate stand alone fax machine if the 56k modem had not been useable. I would also be interested in any work arunds to this as my daughter is just about to go dsl as well and she has a older computer which might not handle both modems.	Guest (0)
25568	2001-11-26 01:58:00	don't worry too much about irqs - get an external modem. i have set this up for numerous people - plus it always pay to still have the old modem, esp. when the other services don't work	Guest (0)
