I had similar problems once before, and had to completely delete the old software off, before Nortons would work properly. Just a thought | Guest (0) | ||
| 25642 | 2001-11-28 07:47:00 | Hi Alan, when we bought the computer 13months ago, apparently the Norton oem version installed was 92-95 ( I think). I cant remember exactly, but they did tell me to uninstall that before I put the new one on.Which I thought I did. Am I able to look somewhere to check, in case that one is not completely gone? Sorry I do get a bit spooked at some of the things you guys suggest I do. Oh by the way, today I tried updating again, and it stopped installing today at 120.0KB, (there were 981.0 KB to update) One suggestion was to install updates one at a time, but how do I do that? I think I'll be keeping you guys busy with some of my dumb questions. I do appreciate it though, thanks. Jules |

Just something else to try. Alan |
