| 25547 | 2001-11-25 18:38:00 | With an older PC putting in a new m/b, will the PSU be fine? Just a case of plugging in the connectors etc? Any problems? What if it was an old 486 or just a 2-3 year old P266 and wanting to upgrade to new DDR m/b? Any tips/problems encountered? Cheers |

| 25550 | 2001-11-25 20:53:00 | I upgraded from a P2.350 to a p4.15 and needed a new power supply and ram was also changed from 256simms I think it was to 1024 of the new stuff, whether the old ram if I had stayed at 256 would have worked in the new board I am not sure so that is another consideration. The power supply might have been ok but I changed the video card from on board to a G2 so it just did not have enough zap to safely power everything. | Guest (0) | ||
