I read somewhere recently (can't remember where) of a place that did very intensive testing of about 100 different AVs, and Panda scored highest (stopping EVERY virus thrown at it - known and unknown), then Norton (it let about 3 through, but not major ones) and then McAfee (which let 4 or 5 through)... |

| 25830 | 2001-11-28 02:30:00 | Panda's a new one to me. I use InoculateIt! which is free and beats Nortions or McAfee hands down. In fact it caught the badtrans virus just a few minutes ago. The unfortunate thing is that there is no further development being done on it as the authors have moved to a paid program. However, they are still issuing the new signatures (as evidenced today).
