26163 2001-12-01 06:31:00 Hi, following a pervious post, i want to know if it is ok (just to make sure) to delete things in the temp folder under windows in [c] drive. I want to make sure that it's not the cookies or the temporary internet files which i do already know that you can delete them safely. so it is called 'temp' (no more)because it's taking 3[something] of my hard drive space. So is it safe to delete, is it also ok if i find all the files ending in *.tmp?

Thanks,

P.S I've just now found some files under the temp folder ending in .aab, which i do not know what it is for, so is it safe to delete them, even if i went and searched all the *.aab files and delete them?

Thanks again,

26164 2001-12-01 06:44:00 I use a program called windowwasher that removes all of the temp folder but in my earlier days, my rule of thumb was to delete anything anything ending in tmp, if it is in use, it will not be deleted.
As for aab, hopefully someone will know what this is.
