| 26160 | 2001-12-01 05:02:00 | Hi I have just upgraded to W2000 Professional from Win98SE. Previous the scanner FB320P worked fine. Now it does not recognise the scanner but I have managed to install the scanner software fine from both the CD and by 2 downloads of updated drivers. However, still no joy with recognising the equipment The LPT port is not being recognised in the ports section of device manager. When I try to add the scanner through the scanners and cameras section, there are NO scanner devices mentioned in the list ? only cameras. There has been no change to the cables etc and the unit is unlocked ? has power etc. What next please? Help will be greatly appreciated. Ron |

The BIOS setting is on 'AUTO' and the 'EPP' is a necessary setting from when I was using WIN98SE. Peculiart to Canon. Any other ideas? Would it help by using specific IRQ addresses such as 378 instaed of AUTO? Thanks again Ron |
