| 26329 | 2001-12-02 23:31:00 | what do you mean by 'connecting to the internet'? modem dailing or just opening a web page? if its modem dailing you can turn off the modem sound. you may still get glitches in the sound as it dails. the only cure for that i know of is to get a different modem. |

| 26330 | 2001-12-03 00:29:00 | Hi there If you mean that the song skips/jumps/stutters when playing an MP3 and also dialling out using your modem, then the cause is probably due to your PC using too many resources and not being able to keep up. I can think of a few ways around it. Try using a less processor intensive music application like Winamp. I use MusicMatch myself and knows it uses more oomph than Winamp. Ensure that all non-essential applications are not running. Use CTRL ALT DEL to see what is running and stop anything not needed before you dial out or start playing music. You should keep systray and explorer. And probably the easiest method of all.... buy more RAM. Good luck GG |
