26249 2001-12-02 04:30:00 There is a known bug in win98se that causes a hang after 49.?? hours of continuos operation. There has been a patch issued for it.

Plus I have noticed a similar thing if I leave mine on for a long operiod (But less than 49 hours).

26251 2001-12-02 06:21:00 Sounds like it is a power saving feature which is not compatible. To eliminate this possibilty disable all power saving options (open the power applet in the control panel and select always on) and see if it still freezes. If the computer runs ok, restore the power saving features (hard disk, suspend feature, etc..) one at a time. Guest (0)
