26436 2002-06-29 17:21:00 Hi J Zep,

I think whats happened is mejoebloggs has been going over some old postings, which are still available way back there, and responded to it which has brought it back to the front again.

I wonder if Ronald Guest will let us know how his new XP machine is going?

Cheers. :)

26437 2002-06-30 00:28:00 Yeah my thoughts exactly - probably did a search for something and got sidetracked and responded to one of the search posts. J ZEP (336)
26438 2002-06-30 00:39:00 J ZEP, where can you see the date for the original thread? I don't see it anywhere.

I know you might feel a bit stupid responding to such an old post but the topic is still relevant and at least one person has got something out of it -- ME!! :D

'Tis not wasted "breath":-)

Hi susan - in thread view on or off if you look at the right where our imfo usually is its there! For his first post its on the right same line as XP subject - na didn't bother me at all just thought it was a hard case thats all and i am glad somebody may find it useful - i am all for helping out or finding imfo from whatever source etc...
Cheers - hey keep up the good work on the F.A.Q by the way - bet thats keeping you busy!!! Good on ya susan the forum would be lost without people like you!! :-)

26442 2002-06-30 06:21:00 Ah, so that's why I can't see it - I don't have thread view on at all, either for the entire page nor the thread links at the top of the thread. Only the new forum's dates show up on my screen, not the old forum's dates.

I keep forgetting that thread view shows things that non-thread view doesn't :-)

26444 2002-06-30 08:03:00 Hey susan - getting off the subject a bit, but along the same line of things not being able to be viewed - Well Bills post re: copy paste etc reminded me of the original post he made on the 15/6/ :Watermark Clipart Background in e-mail (because i commandeered his post a bit and started querying you on my similar prob. VERY RUDE OF ME IT WAS TOO). Anyway i did a search and found it minus our conversation - why is this do you think? My first respond to you shows up, but not the subsequent posts we did? Is it because i responded to you on those posts even though it was Bills thread? But generally all responses show up eh? Do you remember what i am talking about? Probably not cause i think it was when you guys were testing the new forum (could that have something to do with it?) Just wondered if it was something i had set differently in view - but can't figure out what? :-) J ZEP (336)
