| 26637 | 2001-12-06 00:44:00 | Not sure if this is coincidental but since I loaded Mandrake 8.0 and have LILO sort out the dual boot thingy (text based, not graphical) I haven't had any problem closing down Win98 SE (which has been a major prob no matter how many patches/fixes I tried)... Maybe I should suggest this fix (?) to Microsoft? ;^) Paul PS. Thanks to all who assisted me in the process so far :^) |

| 26638 | 2001-12-06 04:23:00 | This past saturday a program caused a major corruption in my C partition. I booted to mandrake 8.1 to move files around a prepare the partition to reinstall 98. Mandrake is very useful in fixing Micro$oft problems |
